This is like a tutorial, but also (for my own edification) shows the differences in the mutltiple filters, etc.
I began with this image:

and ended up with multiples which I'll show at the end of this tutorial (of sorts). There are some layers in here I want to preserve, so let's begin.
Duplicate background.
Set to Screen 100%.
Create new Layer, Saturation (L) 100%, fill with #fdbdfb.
Create new Layer, Overlay 100%, fill with #000080.
Create new Layer, Exclusion 48%, fill with #39eb6e.
Create new Layer, Overlay 61% fill with #c439eb.
Duplicate base.
Bring to top.
And here's where we get the different looks.
Look #1; Set to Color (L) 100%

Look #2; Set to Hard Light 100%

Look #3; Set to Lighten 100%

Look #4; Set to Luminance 100%

Look #5; Set to Luminance (L) 100%

Look #6; Set to Overlay 100%

Look #7; Set to Saturation (L) 100%

Look #8; Set to Screen 100%

Look #9; Set to Soft Light 100%
